Long-time friends of mirth and merriment, The Duke of Uke & His Novelty Orchestra take you on a melodic carousel ride with hints of Tin Pan Alley, funky gospel, and bubblegum pop. While a ukulele leads the way, an eclectic ensemble of tuba, saxophone, violin, electric bass, rock and Latin drums accompany warm and merry vocal harmonies. Gleeful and glib, they will enchant you with their moon-soaked melodies, hot foxtrots, and jumping flea jubilees. Since 2005, The Duke of Uke His Novelty Orchestra have made children hop, old folks stomp, and punks waltz in 3/4 time.Admission: $5 / Free if you bring a dish to the potluck!
David King: ukulele and vocals
David Garcia: percussion
Rebecca Burlingame: drum set
Sarah Cramer: electric bass
Lorene Anderson: tuba and vocals
Anna Hochhalter: saxophone and vocals
Claire Cannon: violin and vocals
